About the Role
We are looking for an Optometrist to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members. The role involves performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health. The position requires an active and unrestricted license/certification in the state, availability for weekends and occasional weekdays, passion, friendliness, and caring, and experience working with military - preferred. This role is based in the State of Iowa and offers health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for various branches of the U.S. military including U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), Army National Guard (ARNG), U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR), U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR), Air National Guard (ANG), and U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR).
