Optometrist

About the role

Clarkson Eyecare is seeking an Optometrist to join their team at the Mt. Vernon, IL office. As part of EyeCare Partners (ECP), a leading network of integrated ophthalmology and optometry providers, the role focuses on maintaining the health and development of patients' eyes through medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients
• Perform eye exams and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the ECP network
• Maintain clinical autonomy while benefiting from investments in new equipment and infrastructure

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA accredited program
• Current Illinois State License
• Passing scores on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
• Experience in clinical optometry preferred

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using the custom EHR system
