Optometrist

About the role

Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The Optometrist will provide full-scope primary optometric care at a healthcare facility. This role will serve as a critical member of the healthcare team, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care in compliance with our client’s healthcare standards, and the American Optometric Association (AOA) guidelines. Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary optometric care in accordance with AOA clinical guidelines and community standards of care.
• Perform detailed patient evaluations, including: visual acuity testing (distance, near, and pinhole vision), color vision assessments, contrast sensitivity testing, refraction (manual, automated, retinoscopy), keratometry and lensometry, external and slit lamp examinations
