Optometrist

About the role

We are seeking an optometrist to join our thriving family practice, currently made up of a team of optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmologists, and opticians. We have 3 locations throughout Maryland, in Baltimore and Carroll counties. We provide eye care for the entire family in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We care for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Our MD’s are pediatric ophthalmologists, and our optometrists see patients of all ages. We have a busy contact lens practice primarily managed by the optometrists and an optical shop.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages
• Manage a busy contact lens practice
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an ABO accredited program
• Current license to practice optometry in Maryland
• Experience in primary care optometry preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay

Starting 150k salary, or more based on experience
