Optometrist (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) - Astoria, Oregon

Function/Duties of Position

• Conduct medical and vision evaluations of patients at Casey Eye Institute.
• Provide routine eye examinations, prescribe glasses and perform related eye care services.
• Document patient findings in the medical record per OHSU and CEI procedures and guidelines and communicate findings and recommendations to ophthalmologists.
• Serve as a resource for technician staff regarding patient refractive care and evaluation.
• Assist with professional education events and courses presented by ophthalmologists, optometrists and other allied health professionals.
• Complete required documentation such as case report forms; maintain patient records.

Required Qualifications

• Requires a Doctor of Optometry degree, and current Oregon licensure.

Additional Details

This position is based primarily at the Casey Eye Institute in Astoria, Oregon. May require travel to other satellite clinic locations as needed.
