The Tesla Optimus Actuator Supply Chain team is seeking a Program Manager to support the Optimus Actuator program. In this role, you will function as a key liaison between the Supply Chain organization and internal stakeholders including Tesla’s Executive Team, Engineering, NPI, Finance, and Manufacturing.

About the role

  • Collaborate closely with your Supply Chain team members including Supply Chain Managers and Supplier Industrialization Engineers across all commodities on behalf of Supply Chain leadership.
  • Work closely with the core Program/Project team to manage high visibility and high value programs, applying program/project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of Tesla’s portfolio of projects.
  • Drive cross-functional decision-making to support supply chain in successful execution of program deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Define, negotiate, and drive execution of project requirements, workflows, and plans for Optimus actuator supply chain team.
  • Manage project timelines/sources of truth and ensure risk mitigation actions are identified and in place for successful execution across program life.
  • Create presentations, data visualizations, and executive summaries to support program/executive decision making.
  • Represent the Supply Chain organization in meetings with Program Team/Tesla’s Executive Team to provide visibility on program status including highlighting potential risks and outlining proposed solutions and mitigating steps.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track program status and to communicate key project metrics to the broader organization including Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing.
  • Develop tools/modalities to streamline program information visibility.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of project / program management or strategic, supply chain experience in a fast paced, highly fluid environment; experience in a manufacturing organization strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated applied experience delivering on complex programs/projects, competing priorities and guiding cross-functional decision making.
  • Superior analytical skills and the ability to use data and metrics to justify business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Experience developing succinct, crisp executive summaries and presenting to leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish business process issues and drive process improvement.

Pay

Expected Compensation: $112,000 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
