Optimization of DNN based computer vision algorithms for resource constrained tactical edge
About the Research
Object detection and semantic segmentation-based computer vision algorithms have become essential for visual scene understanding in tactical edge computing devices. However, these algorithms are computationally complex and not optimized for resource-constrained environments. This project aims to profile several computer vision algorithms and optimize them for deployment on edge computing platforms with resource constraints. Additionally, a generalized model switching framework will be developed to dynamically load models based on both resource constraints and mission requirements.
