Optician

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented, experienced Optician to join our premier eye care facility. In this role, you will execute a flawless patient experience while working alongside a team of physicians and medical staff who provide full-service medical and surgical care, including routine eye care, retina, glaucoma, and corneal disease.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients in the selection of optical products to accommodate their prescription and financial requirements.
• Order frames and lenses from vendors.
• Assist with frame adjustments and repairs.
• Collect payments and enter charges and payments into the Practice Management system.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and sales skills, as well as experience with computer systems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the optical field is required.
• At least 2 years of experience working as an Optician is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Sales experience is a plus.
