Optical Training Coordinator (2nd Shift)

About the role

You will develop and deliver hands-on training for manufacturing and other departments, support performance improvement, and lead new employee orientation to enhance retention. You will act as a liaison between trainees and management to resolve training issues, oversee onboarding of new hires, and ensure compliance with procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate safety training and maintain training records
  • Track training hours and costs, and report on training impact through key metrics
  • Conduct quality and time evaluations
  • Maintain training materials and ensure facility compliance with ISO standards
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to SOPs to meet production goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience or training in a related field
  • Strong organizational, planning, and interpretive skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and machinery
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and team leadership abilities
