Optical Test/Holography Intern

Position Type: Internship (15-20 hr/wk for 6-9 months)

About the role

The successful candidate will perform test and characterization of novel holographic optical elements and provide final certification of company products. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and preferably some hands-on experience in optical testing and measurement equipment are required. Knowledge of optics and optical physics is a strong asset. Knowledge of major computer programs is a plus.

Requirements

• Technical education or training in electronics, optics, or physical sciences with emphasis on optics, photonics, or laser systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, optical, and electrical specifications using drawings and manuals
• Experience with LabView and MathCAD is a plus

15-20 hours per week for 6-9 months
