Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Use optical expertise and product knowledge to meet customer needs, ensuring personalized interactions.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with sales, promotions, and company policies.
• Process Payments and Refunds: Utilize the Point of Sale system for transactions.
• Educate Patients: Inform patients about eyeglass care and insurance claims.
• Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay updated on all eyewear products.
• Create and Manage Patient Files: Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in patient records.
• Interpret Prescription Requirements: Understand and interpret prescription details.
• Measurements and Production: Take necessary measurements, prepare work orders, and inspect final products for accuracy.
• Frame Adjustments and Repairs: Adjust and repair frames as needed.
• Stock and Organize Merchandise: Price, stock, and organize store inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Optical industry experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
