As an Optical Lab Technician 2, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, working hands-on in our state-of-the-art lab to craft high-quality eyewear that makes a difference in people’s lives. Location and Schedule
This role is located at the SLC Lab (2595 Custer Road SLC, UT 84104). Start Date: August 24th, 2026. Shifts: PM Shift - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Pay
Starting Wage: $20 - $21/hourly (Based on Experience)
Responsibilities
- Calibrations and operations of all equipment.
- Effectively identify and address workflow and quality issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Opportunity to be trained in essential job functions across other departments to meet business and individual growth needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
- Experience working in an optical setting
- Intermediate computer skills: Windows OS, Excel, Word, and Rx Universe
- Additional specialized skills in Trail Mix, Quoka, and other in-house software may be required for specific customer interface roles
