Optical Manufacturing Technician

Location & Schedule
This role is located at the SLC Lab (2595 Custer Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84104).
- Monday–Thursday: 2 PM to 12 AM
- Friday–Sunday: 7 AM to 7 PM
Starting wage: $18.50/hour.
Responsibilities
All optical lab technicians are trained in the essential job functions in their primary department, including Surface, AR, and Finishing. These will include:
- Calibrations and operations of all equipment
- Effectively identify and address workflow and quality issues
- Following standard operating procedures
Technicians will also have the opportunity to be trained in the essential job functions in other departments to meet business and individual growth needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
- Experience working in an optical setting
- Intermediate computer skills, including: Windows OS, Excel, Word, and Rx Universe
- Additional specialized skills in Trail Mix, Quoka, and other in-house software may be required in specific customer interface roles
