Optical Logistics Tech - Full time - Oak Park

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries.
• Stock shelves and overstock areas to maintain inventory levels.
• Pick and pack lenses, frames, and other raw materials for delivery to the manufacturing line.
• Match the correct product with patient orders.
• Identify and dispose of obsolete inventory as directed.
• Notify the Logistics Manager of shortages and inconsistencies.
• Organize stock and store goods in designated locations.
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly labeled and packaged for safe and timely delivery.
• Process orders as needed for outsourcing, incoming, and outgoing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• The ability to use a computer and other office technology is necessary.
• Good communication skills are required.
• The ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail is essential.
• Training can be provided to perform the job responsibilities.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Requires the ability to stand for an entire shift.
• Lifts up to 25 pounds.
