Optical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists with patient examinations and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and needs
• Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Help patients select eyewear and provide guidance on lens options
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing payments
• Stay updated on optical products and services to effectively assist patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field
• Current license to practice optometry in your state
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
