Ops Support Laborer

Sign-on Bonus: $1500.00

Requirements

• Demonstrated successful work history involving prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and lifting, preferably in a production or process-oriented industry.
• Ability to lift, roll, or otherwise move barrels and other heavy and bulky materials.
• Ability to enter confined spaces, work at elevated heights and on platforms, and use full PPE with a full-face respirator.
• Experience operating heavy equipment including but not limited to: tow motor, forklift, skid steer, track loader, backhoe, TLB, excavator, farm/ag tractor for mowing, weed trimmer, chainsaw, pole saw, backpack sprayer, 5000 PSI power washers, and various manlifts up to 120 ft.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions; indoor time limited to lunch and scheduled breaks.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required safety training, operational procedures training, RCRA training (initial and current), equipment and machine training, and other training as provided and required by RIS (training subject to change due to regulatory or operational needs).
• Assist with building and grounds activities, including snow removal and lawn care.
• Perform repackaging activities of bulk customer waste and Ross-generated waste using dump trucks and excavators.
• Repackage waste from customer containers (e.g., drums, Gaylords, totes, Wranglers).
• Weigh and set up containers.
• Off-load containers onto the east pad for repackaging.
• Label and barcode containers.
• Operate barcode scanners.
• Load palletized containers onto flatbeds for transport to the Container Storage Facility.
• Shovel and load ash and other bulky or heavy debris.
• Repair and replace roll-off tarps.
• Assist with clean-up and maintenance of the incinerator and Closed Loop Cooling Tower Systems during plant shutdown.
• Operate off-road equipment (e.g., rubber-tired front-end loader with bucket and drum clamps, tow motors, and other front-end loaders).
• Work outdoors in a plant environment with exposure to noise and dust.
• Enter confined spaces as required and in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
