JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent can perform the following essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation(s):

  • Provide direct supervision of OD Coaches (5), including administrative functions, hiring and onboarding, ongoing guidance, performance evaluations and reviews.
  • Champion productive and positive coach/participant relationships to maintain high quality, strengths-based coaching, with a focus on achieving economic independence.
  • Develop and maintain clear policies and procedures for coach performance, program delivery, data entry and analysis to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Provide oversight and accountability for coaching outcomes by leading participant and session reviews, maintaining dashboards, and driving professional development to ensure participants achieve their goals.
  • Partner with the Learning and Evaluation team on evaluation and continuous improvement of Case Worthy functions, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Maintain partner relationships by delivering strong outcomes and effective coach management to support ongoing recruitment and participant retention.
  • Partner with Opportunity Development Program Manager to ensure that career and financial management services are connected to coaching delivery to ensure program success.
  • Support OD team with implementation of the Bridge to Prosperity model.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality coaching services.
  • Promote social justice and social change with and on behalf of ECS program participants.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, nonprofit management, or other related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, data analysis, workforce development, or human services, including at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize data in decision-making to support program evaluation and data-informed decision making, including experience with dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Experience developing and implementing policies to improve program outcomes while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Knowledge of strengths-based coaching practices that support a community-based nonprofit or social work setting serving vulnerable populations with complex and multiple service needs.
  • Proven ability to function and collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with limited to no supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite, Adobe products, CRM/database, and project management software).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including providing meaningful and timely feedback to foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Ability to articulate cross-departmental program initiatives, generating buy-in from staff, volunteers, and participants to drive organizational mission, values, and principles.
  • Understanding of the social determinants of health and their impact on individuals or communities experiencing poverty.
  • Familiarity with community-based resources in the greater Philadelphia area.
  • Commitment to antiracism and inclusion in the context of antipoverty programs and advocacy initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with leadership to strategize and resolve issues efficiently and promptly.
  • Demonstrate growth opportunity development by embracing and persisting through challenges and seeing effort as a critical component of success.
  • Openness to and respect for others’ cultures, identities, and lived experiences.
  • Willingness to represent ECS effectively in various settings and with diverse communities.
