About the role

Our students write articles, host podcasts, and sponsor events—we even wrote a book! At Our National Conversation (ONC), we keep discussions civil and solution-focused, welcoming Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and all others. Our goal is to rise above partisan blame by asking, “What do we want to DO about this?” We aim to make ONC a household name: a trusted source of fair, accurate, and balanced information on politics and public policy.

Young people are inheriting a troubled world. ONC develops America’s future leaders, equipping them with essential skills. Over 900 interns from across the U.S. have participated, guided by experienced mentors. Learn more at ournationalconversation.org.

• Write one article per week (500–750 words) commenting on politics from a left, right, or center perspective.
