About the role
Join an established Ophthalmology practice at Baylor Scott & White Medical to provide care to patients in the community. Team includes: 13 Ophthalmologists (including two Vitreo-Retinal Surgeons), 6 Optometrists, busy schedules Monday-Friday; dedicated time for clinic and procedures, participation in education with a well-established Ophthalmology Residency Program as well as medical students through Baylor College of Medicine, call: 4 weeks per year, employed position with a comprehensive benefit package, Epic EMR system with Kaleidoscope for Eyes; Zeiss Forum for image management.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive glaucoma care to patients in the community
- Collaborate with other members of the ophthalmology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in educational activities with the ophthalmology residency program and medical students
- Contribute to research and development within the department
- Assist in the training of medical students and residents
Requirements
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Board Certified in Ophthalmology or eligible for board certification
- Experience in glaucoma diagnosis and treatment preferred
Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Five years of relevant experience in ophthalmology
