About the Role

Practice Skilled team office ophthalmologists, one optometrist, skilled administrators, scribes, technicians and surgical coordinators Services in this location include Cataracts, Cornea, Diabetic Eye Care, Dry Eye, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics, Primary Vision Care, Retina 6 OR ambulatory surgery center dedicated to eyes Seeing patients 40 hours a week, inclusive of surgical time Full technician and scribe support, which adjusts based on volume State-of-the-art equipment and technology for precise diagnostics and procedures Mentors available to support growth in surgery and specialty

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams and develop treatment plans
  • Treat patients with glaucoma using appropriate medications and surgical techniques
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Provide patient education and counseling on eye health and disease management

Requirements

  • Trained, licensed, board certified/eligible Glaucoma Specialist
  • Experience in managing glaucoma cases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing ophthalmology practices

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology
  • Current license to practice medicine in the state of New York

Pay

Competitive Cash Compensation Package Base salary: $300,000 - $400,000 Productivity bonuses and other Financial Incentives Available Potential relocation assistance and sign on bonus
