About the role

We are seeking a Glaucoma Fellowship-Trained Ophthalmologist for a dual academic and private practice role. You will provide comprehensive glaucoma care in a well-established private practice setting while participating in academic activities, research, and teaching at a university affiliated with LSU.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive glaucoma care in a private practice setting
• Participate in academic activities, research, and teaching at a university affiliated with LSU
• Perform surgeries and manage a high patient volume
• Balance clinical duties with academic responsibilities

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency
• Fellowship training in Glaucoma (required)
• Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
