We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician Supervisor. In this role, the successful candidate works with an ophthalmic medical team to create images of patients' retinas, corneas and other ocular structures to help diagnose and devise treatment plans for various eye-related problems.

Responsibilities

• Making, editing, and maintaining all digital 2D, 3D, and video photographic images for the Department of Plastic Surgery for use in surgical planning and documentation, research, presentation, publication, and department promotion in print and on the web.
• Photograph images for web services and brochures.
• Supervise other ophthalmology team members such as Ophthalmic techs and Ophthalmic imagers.
• Researching, selecting, and maintaining cameras, studio lighting equipment, backgrounds, posing platforms, photo printers, computers, software, and file storage options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Work with an ophthalmic medical team to create images of patients' retinas, corneas, and other ocular structures to help diagnose and devise treatment plans for various eye-related problems.

Pay

The salary range for the role is $66,299.99 - $80,000.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
