About the role
These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.
- Assess vision, prescribe corrective lenses, and detect eye disease for patients.
- Spend majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision.
- Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
Requirements
- Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
- No experience required
- Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required
Qualifications
- Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through training and/or experience
- This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care areas
- Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience and require vocational or technical education
Skills
- Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills
- Attention to detail and ability to write legibly
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50 – 100lbs

Pay
The pay range for this role is $17.65 - $27.36 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
Schedule
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling: (distance: 50 feet), reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive).
