OPEX103: Kanban Project Manager Jira

Responsibilities

• Attend the meeting of the team you will be supporting (weekly or daily).
• Create user stories to describe work items, with clear descriptions and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize stories for the backlog and keep the team organized and focused.
• Conduct weekly meetings with stakeholders and monitor the health of the Kanban board.
• Encourage team members to utilize JIRA for task management.
• Drive open communication with team members.
• Be the servant leader for the team members, mentoring/assisting them when needed.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and be “THE CHAMPION OF CHANGE”.

Requirements

• Experience using Jira, Kanban or Sprint Board.
• Excellent communication, analytical, mentoring and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum time commitment of 4 - 6 hours/week for a minimum of 6 months.
• Weekly meeting TBA.
