Operator Trainee II

Description

The Operator Trainee role involves supporting daily production activities while gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Completing DMS checklists and required documentation accurately.
• Loading the roll stand for production.
• Maintaining correct ink viscosity and cleaning ink stations (Cut 2).
• Operating the butt splicer.
• Inspecting printed and cut materials for quality.
• Packing cartons on pallets for WIP or into corrugated cases for finished goods.
• Inserting tags in loads for CNG pallets.
• Aiding presspersons during machine make-ready setup.
• Helping locate corrugated cases when needed.
• Ensuring product safety and quality by reporting any concerns to senior management or the quality manager.
