Safety Guidelines and Policies

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety policies.
• Reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
• Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Makes sure the production process is monitored, inspected, and tested materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
• Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
• Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
• Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
• Works effectively with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to four years' experience in a related field.
• This position has no leadership duties.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
• Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
