Operator (Overnight shift)
About the Role
As an Operator at Nestlé USA, you’ll play a vital role in producing the world-class products behind beloved brands like DiGiorno, Toll House, and Coffee mate. This entry-level position involves operating machinery, following safety and quality procedures, and ensuring smooth production line operations. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to learn will contribute to delivering high-quality products to consumers.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment
- Load, unload, clean, and adjust machinery
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
- Accurately measure and scale ingredients
- Complete quality checks and record data
- Maintain a clean work area
- Follow safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse work
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and inventory processes (preferred)
- Comfortable using computers or tablets
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Basic math and mechanical understanding
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
Schedule
This role operates on the 3rd shift, with a schedule of Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Onboarding is typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the first week.
Pay
$20.65 per hour, with an additional $3.00 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift employees. Bonus eligibility: Yes.
