Operator (Meltzona) - AL

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate loader and forklift safely always.
• Properly mix crude clay.
• Load hopper with crude clay.
• Load meltzona hopper with finished product to be bagged.
• Service loader everyday at end of shift.
• Maintain clean A505 System.
• Organization/Housekeeping – Maintain clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must be physically and mentally fit for duty.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Dependable and able to maintain the attendance required to perform the job.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and fully understand: SOPs, SDSs, labeling, safety and health regulations, and procedures within the job, this job group and the plant.
• Ability to understand basic mathematics.
• Able to operate loader and forklift safely and efficiently and pass required training to operate loader and forklift.
• Be able to pass SS as it relates to the job, including passing the licensing to operate cranes and forklift.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Environment

• The job is in a dusty and dirty environment.
• Working in a hot and/or cold environment.
• Required to wear respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
