Responsibilities
- Operate/maintain Petroleum Coke Handling System
- Includes daily operation of the conveyor/crusher system, daily inspection, clean-up after use, and maintenance
- Maintain a PLC-controlled conveyor system
- Operate/maintain heavy equipment such as frontend loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, water trucks, large excavators, and other mobile equipment
- Complete and maintain required daily paperwork
- Assist Maintenance personnel, as needed
- Occasionally work in areas outside of normal duties, when instructed by Supervision
- Take an active role in safety program including safety meetings and ensuring safe behaviors
Requirements
- 1 year of refinery, plant, or industrial experience
- Class B CDL preferred

- Follow written and/or verbal instructions
- Environmental & Safety Awareness
- Cooperates and works well with others in one-on-one or group situations
- Contributes actively to team objectives, takes on responsibilities, and is responsible for actions

Schedule
- Rotating (days/nights) 12-hour shift to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary
- Able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions in addition to walking, and standing on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods of time
- Handle large tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of height
