Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Meet production goals and customer delivery deadlines while adhering to the Specified KPI’s
• Ensure all projects meet quality testing standards as well as customer specifications by performing inspections, ensuring required testing protocols are followed, and monitoring the finishing processes across multiple machines
• Learns to oversee the setup, operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all fulfillment equipment, including drills, stitchers, and vacuum tables
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Enforce company PPE policy, safety procedures, and regulations, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Conduct regular safety training and inspections
• Communicate and report performance by correctly filling in daily job performance tickets for SAP reconciliation and to account for all machine up and down time
• Participate in cross-functional teams to continuously improve production methods, efficiency, and quality
• Work with Continuous improvement team and the fulfillment dept. team to create and follow standard operating procedures for set up and running of all equipment in the fulfillment center

Skills And Qualifications

• 3-5 years progressive experience in a printing or bindery environment
• Strong knowledge of bindery processes and equipment, including operation, setup, and maintenance
• Proven track record of supervising and motivating teams to achieve production goals and managing production levels to specific KPI’s
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with staff and other departments
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues efficiently and effectively
• A keen eye for detail is critical for ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications
