Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, responsible for inspection, assembly, and packing of products in a cleanroom environment with specific attire and PPE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Become familiar with product lines and all related visual defects to identify rejected parts.
- Visually inspect bottles retrieved from machines, conveyor lines, or bulk containers and make quality decisions on each part.
- Recognize out-of-spec production and advise supervisor or set-up personnel.
- Perform 15-minute inspections of high-volume production.
- Set up work area as a controlled environment requiring hats, gloves, beard masks, and coats.
- Perform housekeeping to maintain a clean environment for media bottle production.
- Maintain necessary paperwork (e.g., 15-minute inspection form, MQC sheet).
- Work to established QC samples.
- Alert Supervisor/Team Lead or Set-up personnel when problems arise.
- Adhere to all company and departmental work and safety rules.
- Operate any machine or operation in the assigned department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab, or related field.
- Experience in a cGMP environment preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Must perform simple math (addition, subtraction of whole numbers).
- Excellent hand/eye coordination and ability to lift and load pallets up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in a high-speed, repetitive production environment.
- Must work well with others in a team environment.
Environmental Conditions
- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, or facial hair allowed.
- Loud noises from equipment/machinery.
- PPE required: safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.

Hourly pay range for this position in New York: $18.50–$20.50. Eligible for a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.
