Operator I, Warehouse Operations

About the role

Join our warehouse team and become part of a supply chain that delivers results every day. As a Warehouse Operations Operator, you'll roll up your sleeves, work safely, and help us fulfill orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform inbound functions such as picking orders for truck and parcel shipment, replenishments, full pallet picking, loading, and NetShelter picking.
• Utilize various warehouse equipment, including order pickers and high-reach trucks.
• Use RF scanner systems to scan products and complete orders.
• Work within customer specialization in orders.
• Participate in continuous training and learning efforts related to processes and safety.
• Perform daily equipment inspections through physical examination pre-checks.
• Prepare products for shipment by verifying product code, quantity, and quality of items; check orders for accuracy during the picking process.
• Responsibly report all safety incidents or concerns.
• Work assigned overtime as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Safety-minded, team-oriented, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptive in work environments.
• Ability to identify, locate, and move product, including reading, counting, and performing basic math functions.
• 18 years or older.
• High School degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Schneider Electric experience.
• Warehouse experience, including materials handling and distribution center operations.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation.
• Experience with order picking and shipping & receiving processes.
• Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to handle moderate physical activity.
• Lift, lower, push, pull, and carry 40 pounds individually, or 40+ pounds with assistance, on a regular basis.
• Remain in a stationary position during shift (sit, stand, walk).
• Handle moderate heat/cold.
• Operate heavy power equipment.
• Regularly bend and stoop to lift up to 40 pounds.

Pay

Current hourly pay range is $18.10 - $27.10.
