Operator I, Warehouse Operations

About the role

We're seeking a Warehouse Operations Operator to join our dynamic supply chain team. The role involves moving materials, picking and pulling, collaborating with purchasing, receiving shipments, verifying shipments, labeling, and maintaining inventory.

Responsibilities

• Movement of production material between locations/processes
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Pick and pull of materials using standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with Purchasing staff for listing expected deliveries
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork receipts
• Note any visual damage or shortages on delivery receipts
• Verify internal shipments and packages based on packing lists and quantities
• Contact suppliers/buyers for discrepancies
• Label deliveries and allocate them to designated places
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
• Implement FIFO inventory system
• Use JDE knowledge
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of material handling and/or warehouse experience
• Familiarity with computer applications a definite plus
• Able to lift 25-30 lbs.
• Forklift experience preferred
