Work Schedule

- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed
- Fluctuating Temps hot/cold
- Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery)
- No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided
- Variety of outside weather conditions
- Warehouse
- Will work with hazardous/toxic materials
Safety Standards
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards

Location/Division Specific Information
The Microbiology Division provides solutions and workflow for food, clinical, and pharmaceutical environments. The markets we serve include food manufactures and labs, clinical and healthcare, pharma, and biotech. We manufacture culture media and other microbiological diagnostic products serving customers in the pharmaceutical, food, and clinical laboratories.
What You Will Do
- Follow all written procedures
- Report discrepancies in procedures (SOP’s, DHR’s, etc.) to the Area Supervisor
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Perform all work activities in a safe manner
- Maintain a safe and clutter free work area
- Clean up all spills immediately
- Listen to, follow and relay written and verbal instructions in English
- Report property damage and /or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management immediately
- Document accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance
- Continuously monitor product for defects
- Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery
- Perform simple maintenance and make necessary adjustments
- Report malfunctioning equipment immediately to Supervisor or Lead
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- This includes all assigned equipment
- Read, understand, and complete required documentation
- All paperwork shall be accurately and neatly completed in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Set up and adjust machine to run a variety of sizes and types using tools to adjust machine
- Actively engage in making suggestions for process improvement
- Encourage an atmosphere of collaboration
How You Will Get Here
- Education: Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 0- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment; aseptic experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment preferred
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to lift product up to 50lbs, Communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, Understand and perform basic math
