Key Accountabilities
- Promote and drive a culture of safety.
- Adhere to DuPont’s core values.
- Follow procedures and work instructions to ensure product quality.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Monitor and report quality defects.
- Recommend improvements to production methods and equipment.
- Perform housekeeping duties and production assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Be on time and ready to work at your workstation.
- Operate machines efficiently and perform visual inspections.
- Trim parts and inspect using a microscope.
- Notify supervisors of defective parts and unplanned downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Good hand and eye coordination.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interpret documents and use measuring devices.
- Physical requirements: stand for 8+ hours, lift up to 50 pounds, use tweezers and a microscope.
- Specific vision abilities: inspect through a microscope.
- Work environment: exposure to fumes, airborne particles, heat, and clean room conditions.
