About the Role

This full‑time Operator position is based in Chester, VA, reporting to the Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Move materials in a safe and orderly way using equipment.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with operator certifications.
• OSHA 10 training (minimum); OSHA 30 preferred.
• Forklift certification (all kinds) and fall protection training.
• Mobile elevated work platform training (boom and scissor).
• Experience operating a skid steer and water truck is a huge plus.
• Ability to work agile/mobile, remain alert, stand or walk for long periods, use hands to reach and manipulate objects, and climb ladders or scaffolds.
• Capability to work on uneven surfaces/heights, read/write, and see & hear well (with correction if needed).
• Physical ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 lb. about 75 % of the time.
• Willingness to work outdoors, overtime, and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and daily promptness required.
• Must pass a mandatory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.
• Must work in an OSHA‑compliant safety environment.
• Substance‑abuse testing and background screening are conditions of employment.
