Operator Forklift

Summary

Mortenson is seeking an Operator responsible for operating various pieces of equipment as directed and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

- Operate equipment including blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, boom lifts/aerial lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane. - Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace. - Perform routine maintenance, inspect equipment operation, and identify malfunctions. - Adhere to work plans and pre-task cards. - Build positive relationships and provide excellent customer service. - Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Required equipment certifications. - At least one year of related experience. - Valid driver's license and necessary endorsements. - Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and customer service skills. - Basic math skills and ability to operate equipment safely. - Effective communication and active listening skills. - Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. - Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs with assistance.
