Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment at all times
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety
• Operate hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
• Work in kilns, set up forms, and/or load and unload finished materials on trucks
• Operate control station and header cart
• Ensure machine is clean and in good working order
• Ensure quality of materials used in production (concrete, wire reinforcement)
• Inspect wire cages/reinforcements
• Supply machine with necessary components to make product
• Meet production schedule numbers
• Produce quality product
• Perform basic troubleshooting on production and concrete batching machinery

Requirements

• Exposed to high levels of concrete dust
• Regularly wear protective attire, such as hard hats and steel-toe boots
• Strong time management skills and understanding of manufacturing urgency
• Ability to work with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals
• 1+ year(s) industry experience
• English language proficiency (Spanish is a plus)
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
