Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment at all times
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety
- Operate hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
- Work in kilns, set up forms, and/or load and unload finished materials on trucks
- Operate control station and header cart
- Ensure machine is clean and in good working order
- Ensure quality of materials used in production (concrete, wire reinforcement)
- Inspect wire cages/reinforcements
- Supply machine with necessary components to make product
- Meet production schedule numbers
- Produce quality product
- Perform basic troubleshooting on production and concrete batching machinery
Requirements
- Exposed to high levels of concrete dust
- Regularly wear protective attire, such as hard hats and steel-toe boots
- Strong time management skills and understanding of manufacturing urgency
- Ability to work with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals
- 1+ year(s) industry experience
- English language proficiency (Spanish is a plus)
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
