Requirements
- Sewing/embroidery experience is helpful but not required
- Basic communication skills: reading, speaking, and understanding English
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the work shift
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- High attention to detail and quality
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work positively with others
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Must follow directions well
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends when needed
- Good attendance is a must
Responsibilities
- Check in garments when they arrive
- Load design onto the machine via computer
- Hoop garment or item while the machine is running, prepping for the next run
- Operate machines while trimming the backing
- Learn how to adjust tensions for better sewing quality
- Fix errors if needed on items
- Maintain attention to detail and multitask
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and clean work environment that reflects pride in Workwear and is presentable to visitors
Schedule
1st shift hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required daily and on Saturday.
