About the role
The Operator - Die Cut - Day position is responsible for operating die-cutting machines to produce various products.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain die-cutting machines to ensure efficient production.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Adjust machine settings according to product specifications.
- Inspect workpieces for quality control purposes.
- Handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Skills
- Proficiency in using die-cutting machines.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Basic knowledge of material handling and storage.
