Operator, Bulk Weigh (1st shift) - New Ulm, MN

Onsite position in New Ulm, MN.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh raw materials using product code, batch numbers, and SU’s to verify ingredients.
• Add materials according to the work order sheet in a timely fashion.
• Accurately fill daily packing sheets, ensuring packaging and labeling of finished product meets customer or internal usage needs per instructions.
• Assist in pre-weighing materials, washing tanks, and materials used in daily production.
• Provide accurate count and packing sheets for daily production.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure product quality, enforce safety rules and procedures.
• Follow all Safety Policies set by the company, including Kosher and USDA guidelines for status, required labeling, and process instructions.
• Troubleshoot, verify materials before, during, and after the weigh process, and inspect/confirm ingredients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• SAP and inventory experience.
• Ability to lead and train Packers and/or Splits on Standard Operating Procedures.
• At least one year of experience as a Split Operator or Operator role.
• Progressive focus on safety and ergonomic functioning for the production floor team members.
• Strong math aptitude for calculating kilograms (Kg) per thousand and bag weights.

Pay

Hourly wage range: $28.09 - $29.00 per hour. Individual pay is based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and primary work location.
