Responsibilities
- Completes bag machine setup for production, runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Maintains production process by monitoring, inspecting, and testing materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols.
- Ensures product quality meets standards and production quotas are met by verifying and tracking materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
- Communicates clear instructions to other crew members as needed.
- Completes necessary documentation for internal and/or external use.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries, and wears appropriate PPE as required.
- Works effectively with all personnel in all departments, including machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with bag machines and similar equipment.
- Knowledge of quality control and production standards.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Good communication skills.
