About the role

The Glue Technician is responsible for ensuring the glue machine operates properly within an automated manufacturing process. This position supports product quality and production efficiency by maintaining correct adhesive application, equipment setup, and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Show initiative, be a self-starter
• Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
• Operate a computer and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Multi-task
• Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
• Read a tape measure and do basic math
• Stand for 8-10 hours straight
• Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting)
• Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
• Experience with:
• Work safely and follow all plant rules
• Ability to multi-task
• Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
• Read a tape measure and do basic math
• At least 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Must have experience with:
• Think under pressure, make quick and strategic decisions
• Show initiative, be a self-starter, and be able to train and coach others

Skills

• Operate a computer and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Pay

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $19.00/hr +$1/hr shift differential + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to [location] and may not be applicable to other locations.
