About The Role

We are seeking a Bakery Operator to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. In this role, you will operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment to ensure products meet Aspire Bakeries’ quality and food safety standards. You will support multiple phases of production and play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.

Schedule

  • Shift: 1st Shift
  • Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Weekend Availability: Required

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust production and packaging equipment to meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Support equipment setup, changeovers, startups, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas in accordance with GMP and safety requirements.
  • Monitor equipment performance and product flow to support production efficiency and quality outcomes.
  • Communicate production status, process updates, and operational concerns with supervisors and team members.
  • Provide operational coverage across production lines and support staffing needs as required.
  • Contribute to continuous production efficiency and product quality through additional operational support activities.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic equipment operation knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and observational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing production demands.
  • Ability to collaborate and perform as part of a team-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Preferred: Food manufacturing experience.
  • Preferred: Experience operating multiple types of production equipment.
  • Preferred: Experience operating packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment.
