Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay

$17.50 per hour

About the role

Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. May maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods using forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks.
• Maintain records as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications as needed.
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.

• Regularly exposed to walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, and frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick or type (including repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers).
• May be required to lift and/or move over 50 lbs.
• Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles.
• Work environment may be hot in summer months (no air conditioning) and cold in winter months (limited heating).
• Noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
