Summary

The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products.

Responsibilities

• 1+ year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications as needed.
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co‑workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics‑driven environment.
• General computer skills.

Physical Demands

The associate must regularly engage in walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, twisting, and lifting. Frequent use of hand‑to‑finger actions such as handling, feeling, picking, or typing may involve repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers. Occasional climbing may be required. The job may require lifting over 50 lb in some areas. The associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and sufficient hearing to safely operate material handling equipment in a manufacturing/distribution environment. Reasonable accommodations are available in accordance with the ADA.

Work Environment

The noise level is moderate to loud. The associate will almost always be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, precarious situations, and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally there may be exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
