Operator 2 (Screenprint)

About the role

Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 2nd Shift Screenprint Operator. The position is available in Niagara Falls, NY, near the world-famous Niagara Falls.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work documents for parts to be processed and set up printer accordingly
• Determine type paste to be used per traveler
• Place parts on tool plate, activate machine to print, monitor machine to ensure it is printing evenly and straight
• Complete visual checks to make sure the part is aligned correctly and occasionally measure alignment
• Bake parts in oven
• Run printed parts through furnace to cure printed ink
• Clean screens and machines after each process and route parts to other departments as instructed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write to understand production documents
• Ability to work in a clean room environment
• Basic math skills required
• Computer skills required
• Close attention to detail skills required

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a shift environment
• Ability to follow safety protocols

Skills

• Basic understanding of screenprinting processes
• Attention to detail
