Operator 2 (Deposition 2nd Shift)

About the role

Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 2nd shift Deposition Operator. The position is based in Niagara Falls, NY, near the world-famous Niagara Falls.

Responsibilities

• Deposits film layers onto substrates/wafers according to established manufacturing specifications.
• Set up and run TM furnace and TCR station.
• Set up and load sputtering equipment for individual film depositing.
• Perform all steps necessary to apply appropriate film specifications.
• Include test coupons in runs, etch gold, and measure before and after heat treat.
• Perform various tasks on the computer; output tracking, run sheets, sheet restrictions before and after.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in order to understand production documents.
• Basic math skills required.
• Computer skills required.
• Close attention to detail skills required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must be able to pass a security clearance.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
