Operator - 2nd Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain safety protocols by reporting issues to supervisor.
• Operate safety door on molding machine to extract molded parts or load molding fixtures/hand loads.
• Perform secondary operations on molded parts including trimming with knives and/or clippers, use of hand or power tools to separate molded parts from hand loads.
• Clean auxiliary equipment such as hoppers, grinders, and dryers as needed.
• Identify and understand material tickets.
• Answer and respond to machine alarms.
• Shut off water to the mold in case of a large leak.
• Collect first and last shots and correctly complete production orders and machine cards.
• Use limit samples and workmanship standards properly.
• Perform rework procedures as necessary.
• Be available to work overtime as needed.
• Question and report anything unusual to supervisor.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding conduct, safety practices, and job performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
