About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator II to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Production Operator II, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure products meet quality, safety, and operational standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production flow, food safety compliance, and consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure products meet established specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes and product quality to maintain compliance with operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and operational records.
  • Ensure work areas, machinery, and equipment remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Support food safety and GMP compliance by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Report and escalate safety, quality, or maintenance concerns to support a safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of production equipment operation and product specifications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product-related issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include:
  • Experience in food manufacturing or bakery operations.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a production setting.

Skills

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM
Weekend Availability: Required
